I had that exact combo and loved it. I just sold it because I wanted a variable optic. I don't understand why people mention weight. The Aimpoint PRO is about 12 oz and the G33 about 11oz. Any scope/base is more than that.
The nice thing about that set up is that you can take the G33 off depending on need

I've never shopped dvor. Are they legitimate? It's hard to find such a good price. Optics planet won't take any discount on them. Says the 530 is cost and will not further discount. All the good prices are on somewhat sketchy sites, that when googled, most reviews warn against doing business with.
I know I'm asking alot, but can you tell me that I should buy it and rig it behind my pro, and dvor is legitimate.
If so, I'll pull 5he trigger and make the move. I've been wanting to do this for a while, but have been woosing out badly.
No. I like the G33 but I'm not a fan of it behind a Pro. Some people obviously are. I think it's too big & heavy. Others don't feel the same. You'll have to try it for yourself to decide.
Dvor is legit & buy with confidence. $465 is a good price. If you don't like the setup, you can likely sell it & break even if not a profit.

    Thumbs up

    $474 w/Standard Shipping.
I'm impressed that you guys took the time to help me on this.
    I am concerned with weight.
The DD M4 is light, w/ Stream light (650 lumens) with remote hand switch, Front angled magpul hand grip, PRO, SOCOM 556 RC suppressor and now G33 3x magnifier. I'm still thinking about 45 degree mounted magpul pro folding sights for backup. All the other mods are non weight adding items. As long as I don't use the Surefire 60 rnd mag I have, it should still be useable. And like you folks suggested, the G33 can stay in the vest till needed (the 60 rnd mag too).
I'll think about you folks (for better or worse) when using the G33. I'm sure it'll be a blast. :)

Yes, DVOR is legit but I don't find things on there that I want to buy very often.
I bought a JP Low Mass bolt carrier from them over Christmas...took a couple of weeks to get it but was not in a hurry.
After seeing the G33 price, that is the lowest I have seen it so I just ordered one. Hopefully it will get here within a couple of weeks.

I replace my Eotech with a PRO and ADM mount ( which is lighter then stock mount )
And have my g33 behind it . Works fine !
Flip of a lever one or both come off .

I love the pro. But with the additional cost of the g33, I will always wonder if I should have started with an acog.
But this way I always retain the 1x of the pro for home defense. Best of both worlds.
Just as an aside, I returned the surefire x300 gun light, instead of shelling out an additional 160 for a remote hand switch for the stream light hl w/ remote switch. Cost was 200 dollars less and it is better and brighter than the x300. It is a highly recommended carbine light option.
I am really looking forward to seeing the g33 show up at my door (early next week).

Does the dot of the PRO become a slash like the T1 when viewed through the magnifier?

For me, the advantage of the G33 as opposed to an ACOG or other magnified optic is that I can easily move the G33 from rifle to rifle. Behind my Aimpoint PROs or Eotechs, the dot is nice and crisp. The 4 MOA dot on my old T-1 is more of a blob.
