    Probably yes.
After all, he needs some form of payment for all the "hard work" he did "testing" it .

What's the goodies you get for $2200? Just curious because you get get Noveske with VIS or LMT MRP for cheaper.

LMT Standard MRP upper runs $1289
LMT SOPMOD complete lower runs $539
add the enhanced LMT BCG, CH, and F/R Buis and the price seems comparable.

These rifles are just starting to ship and with in a few months dealers should have enough to stock them. We worked very hard to give the customer the most value possible. I can honestly say that there is no better value in the entire market right now. It is a high end gun and commands a high end price. There is no shortcuts on this rifle and it has every option we can put on a rifle. There are also features on this rifle that can not be had at any price. This rifle built to be desirable to not just "KAC coolaid drinkers". We will be building the rifle in quantities that should make it accessible to a broader range of customer than we typically serve.

The purpose of the new "combat" trigger guard is to give the shooter a place to put their finger in the safe position. The extra leverage you get on the rifle with your finger in this position makes a rifle more wieldable (esp. with extra weight on the rifle). Plus it looks cool.

Very impressive, I like it! And that does seem to be a very reasonable price for what you get.

    Barrel extenstion?

Does the E3 bolt system use a standard or proprietary extension?
