Decided to build A2

Ok I understand. I like that! I read on the forums where some uppers like that came on the market. Love to have one one day.

What are the USGI contractors who built a2 uppers? I know Colt and FN built rifles but did they also build replacement upper receivers? Didn't Saber Defence build a few?

Anyone have a surplus GI stripped upper they like to part with PM me. I love to have FN stripped upper for my barrel.

I agree. There is Rock River Arms for instance. Theirs are Cerro Forge uppers.

My barrel came in here is what it looks like:





It has a non F marked front sight and has rifle feed ramps. Brand new! Dated 1/14. I like it.

I have a A2 upper on the way. In the picture it has F and Cerrio Forge keyhole mark. I'm hoping this is FN upper. I'll post picture when it comes in tomorrow.

Here is the new upper I bought. It has a different park on it than my other upper. Has a purple sheen and greyish. Is F marked. FN?

Now it has a sight, dust cover, and forward assist.
