Whats better? LWRC M6A2 or LMT w/monolithic upper

I have a choice between a LWRC M6A2 or LMT w/monolithic upper. Both rifles are in mint condition but the LMT has the option to change barrels. Both come with 2 30 round magazines and all factory accessories and both have very low round counts. I know both are considered top tier AR15's but I can only have one so I'd like some input on which rifle is better or if both are pretty much equal across the board. Both rifles are priced about the same so at this point cost isn't an issue. The LWRC started life as a NJ compliant rifle with a permanently attached muzzle break, no bayonet lug and the stock has been unpinned so it now functions properly.

I just bought an lwrc m6ic a5. I've only put a few hundred rounds thru it just trying it out and it's been great so far, but I have little experience with piston ARs and lwrc so who knows how it will pan out as time goes by. In your situation I actually recommend the LMT. I looked at one as well but it had a semi auto bcg and I was shopping for a piston upper I could run on a full auto lower. If that matters to you you may want to check that. Also I personally wouldn't want a rifle that's been revived from some state compliant crap, that would just bother me. Cheers.

Both rifles are considered "top tier"? This is questionable on the LWRC at best, and proven on the LMT. So, there is no question which rifle is better. Any configuration from LMT is better than the best LWRC has to offer. Without question...no doubt.

LMT. No question. I have no axe to grind with LWRCI, just that LMT is truly a top tier manufacturer.

Why does it have to be one of these two?

Why do say LWRC is questionable as a top tier AR15? I'd be interested in knowing more details.

Don't ask Mark M about LWRC

Just my opinion, but monolithic, one piece uppers make me nervous. It just seems like the upper and rail being all one piece could royally screw you over if something breaks. Just my .02

If you're a regular Joe, a-few-times-a-month or less shooter, it won't matter. They're both quality products, so get the one you like more.

LMT all day and every day. LWRC QC is shotty at best. My agency purchased a number of their rifles to replace a well known manufactures rifle that had performed flawlessly to that point, but were shot out. They have had problems with a number of the rifles that would be disconcerting at the least. I have also seen a LWRC bolt shear after about 4000 rounds on a friends gun. Oddly he replaced that gun shortly after with a LMT MRP.

Have an LWRC M6A2. It's very well put together rifle...beyond the level of fit and finish required for one to function. But, you pay for that.

I have several thousand rounds through it...the most in any one session being around 5-700. No failure, but it is heavy. And it's a shooter.

Would I buy it again? Probably. If I could own only one would it be it? Probably not. That 6920 w/ACOG is pretty damned handy for whatever uses I have for one nowadays.
