The heavier than keymod is well understood. I am wondering in comparison to Geissele MK8, ALG, ect, MLOK rails. DD has always had fairly heavy rails.

There is a video on youtube of the new rail at shot show. This plus a light mount from KDG would make my year.

The MFR XS 15.0 (15") weights 11.3 oz. This includes the barrel nut and all mounting hardware.

Are there any plans for an MFR XS 10.0 for general release?
Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

They have also made the toughest rails on the market, bar none.

We plan to offer the MFR XS in multiple lengths. The 15.0 will be the longest and we plan to have it available 2nd Quarter. Shorter Lengths to follow. If it's any indication of what we plan to do, we did have a 10.0 on display at SHOT.

Naw, I wish companies would forget the cerakote craze, and just go back to anodizing, I loved the color of the RIS II FDE anodized DD offered before the cerakote brown they offer now.

How bout anodized black and when you buy a rifle they'll throw in your choice in krylon.

    But that's just me.

You don't really hear much in the way of complaints about DD rails, except by the usual fanboy crowd members.
