So, question about the reticle. I'm used to EOTechs circle and 1 moa dot. As far as Aimpoints, are there any advantages to the 4-moa dot over the 2-moa dot? This is for close applications (100 yards and in).

None. IMHO, a big disadvantage. Much blobbier. Especially true if using a magnifier. 2MOA dot magnifies fine. I have a 4 MOA T-1. I generally dislike the form factor, but the 4MOA dot makes me dislike it even more. I finally put it on an ADM mount and use it on my Benelli M2.

So 2-moa is the way to go. Got it.
I find that I like the 4MOA when it is mounted far forward like on my AK Ultimak rail, but the 2MOA is better close up on my AR receivers.
I've found batteries on8 Amazon in abundance. Right now I'm holding 3 backup to the one that came with the Pro
From my Samsung Note 4
I ended up getting the T1 with the LT660 mount. I also stocked up on a few of the 2032 batteries. But I think I'm going to be picking up the PRO next to put on my truck gun.
I get batteries for my pro's on Amazon. They're always in stock. I've also seen them at home depot, lowes, and I think walmart.
So no, battery availability is not a problem at all. Just buy 5 and you're set for 15 years (give or take)
