Agreed. The better people besides Cruz do, the more split the field becomes, which is better for Trump.

I think Rubio failed tonight. Cruz did ok. Trump was Trump.

Kasich and Cruz did the best, Trump and Little Marco squabbled like little children, which means Little Marco was the big loser. So yeah, that's pretty spot on.

    Yeah.

Kasich did the best, staying above the fray and giving on point answers on his policies. Cruz next, he spoke very well but didn't distinguish himself imo. Rubio just failed. Trump you could stick between Cruz and Rubio, he was hit pretty hard and had no answers, but he didn't fall flat like Rubio.

It's kinda ironic that not very long ago everyone was predicting if Trump didn't get the numbers, he'd screw the pooch by running as an independent and guaranteeing a Clinton victory rather than getting behind the front runner.

And just when it seems Trump might get the numbers, the GOP decides to screw the pooch themselves and try and delivery a Clinton victory. I might not be voting this year, I think the actions of Mitt and the GOP are just too much, it's everything we were trying to get away from in the first place.

Its amazing how the GOP forced Donald to pledge allegiance, and now they're hell bent on breaking that vow themselves. If they do that, Trump will hoist them on their own petard. Imwill frigging cheer him on if it comes to pass.

I still think Trump will jump wagon if he doesn't get the gop nomination.

It's easy for him to say he won't because he's the frontrunner.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you don't know any liberals. Because I know some and am related to others and there is a significant portion of the Dems who will not vote for Hillary. In fact, there's apparently some pledge thing circulating that people who sign are supposed to pledge to not vote if Hillary is the party's nominee.

The race is over at this point, Trump has won. Nobody will surpass him, not with a divided field, not one on one. So saying he'll run 3rd party is a moot point, a point I disagree with entirely. Trump will not run 3rd party, Trump is in this to take over the Republican Party from the big money donors who want amnesty.

Agreed. If he doesn't get the nomination at the convention, it will be because the party elite break their agreement and steal it from him. If that happens, I would support him running 3rd party. Actions have consequences. The GOP would do well to remember that.
