I didn't touch the mount at all, just dialed in 6 clicks right and was back at zero.

Try the box scope test method?
At any rate, glad it was easily corrected and hope both the optic and mount continue to hold zero for you.

I was thinking about my particular experience again and realized that the scope/mount took the hit on the left side.......but.....the zero shift moved left. It seems to me that if the mount deflected/moved/bent it would have moved left to right, thus shifting the zero to the right, not to the left. Does this sound correct? If so then the scope would have caused the zero shift to the left.
I didn't run the box test, it didn't come to mind.
