John from Ballistic Radio has also been having this issue with a LWRC he's been testing. He recently posted a video on his FB page.

Except this rifle was fine before the barrel mod, according to the OP.

A issue in the chamber which caused keyholing, and only once a muzzle brake was installed???

A barrel, with over 3500 rounds through it and had two different muzzle devices pinned & welded to it, was replaced by the manufacturer. If LMT did so free of charge, that's great customer service. If the customer is paying for it, replacing the barrel should fix the problem, whether the anomaly in the chamber could have caused it or not

3,500 is enough rounds to wear out a 5.56 barrel.

Interesting that it only showed it's face after the install but cool that they stood behind their product.

    M855 and Barrel life

So as some of you might remember I had a problem with one of my rifles keyholing. I sent it back to the manufacturer they replace the barrel for your charge. They stated that the chamber was out of spec. So my question is since I primarily shoot m855 has anybody else had a problem with m855 in their rifles?
