Actually the disconnector is pre installed and held captive by the trigger pin, you remove the trigger pin and replace it with the slave pin if so inclined during the installation process. I know, splitting hairs.

The assembly did great!!! No issues firing and the pull/break is nice! I really like it. Thanks again to everyone for the their advice.

Kyjames- I have two of the SSA-E's and one of the SSA triggers(have another SSA coming from Geissele, should be here tomorrow). To me the SSA is a perfect trigger for home defense and general range use.

Macford125: based on what limited experience I have, I agree

I don't even use slave pins anymore.
Yup it's pretty easy, don't worry about it. You'll be glad you got it the first time you shoot using it. They are slick triggers. I have 2 of the SSA-E triggers.

Will the SSA-E spoil you if you're used to the SSA?

What does the SSA trigger feel like when compared to the SSA-E?

The first stage for the SSA is 2.5lbs, vs 2.3 for the SSA-E. But it's the second stage that makes the difference for me - 2.0lbs for the SSA vs 1.2 for the SSA-E. That 1/2 pound difference is significant to me.

For me the SSA-E is perfect for a semi-precision rifle intended for prone or bench shooting. The SSA is just right for a "carrying about" or "close-in" defense gun. I'm a 1911 guy, and I like slightly heaver trigger for carry and self defense, but a lighter trigger for range/target use. I hope that answers your question.
