On topic, how much does temp/humidity affect silencer performance?

2 days were cold, one was 20 degrees F Warmer, and everything seemed MUCH quieter on the warm day.

Air is less dense at hotter temps, sound waves propagate less efficiently in thinner mediums.

If you check your favorite ammo crawler, lots of PPU 158gr out there right now for less than .30.

PSA has .223 gold dots for .50 and the 158s for .30.

Got some on the way, just got a foot of snow yesterday lol. Hoping to try it next weekend!
