I've spent a decent amount of time behind the new TT 5-25 and they are fantastic scopes. Probably the best scope on the market in my opinion.

    To the OP:

If you can't afford the TT, I think the Vortex Razor Gen II 3-18 would be a great choice for what you're looking for. I run the Gen II Razor 4.5-27 and it is a fantastic scope for the money. They only downside is that they are a little heavier because they're built like a tank, but they are very good scopes and i like their EBR-2 reticle.

I also run a SWFA 3-15 on my AR10 with a mini RDS offset at 45 degrees. SWFA scopes are awesome for what they cost, and they have great glass and track perfectly. The 3-15 doesn't have an illuminated reticle though, and you have a decent budget, so there are better options in your price range.

I think the list that Primus posted is a great list to choose from. Any of those will serve you well

I ended up pulling the trigger on the Steiner m5xi 3-15. I have had "some time" (few hundred rounds) behind it, and for 1,800 bucks, I think that is a win. I didn't feel like ponying up the 3k for something I have never seen, touched, or even heard about until yesterday. Once I get back in town and get some more time behind it, Ill share some feedback. Thanks for everyone's input. Came in thinking the 2.5-10 NF was the best for this application, and ended up with a 3-15. But if a NF 1-8 day light bright optic comes out, you can bet I will pick one of those up. In the time being, I'm giving the Steiner a go.

Well you definitely have a precision rig now, what reticle did you go with? I feel like an APC with a Steiner 3-15 deserves a KAC bipod as well...

Reticle is the MSR. And Yes I agree. Have an Atlas, but the KAC looks nice. Went with the new KAC clamp on offset BUIS and the new bubble level, and a MAMS. Should be a fun rig. Just need a few cases of FGMM and should be set. This rifle is getting expensive...but saved a little on getting the optic from a buddy. That always helps.

That is a SMOKING deal. Was it one of thing or does one of the retailers sell for that?

Was not a retailer or someone from the industry. Just a shooting buddy. I want to think I did the best for the money. Always deals to be had, just this one came right when I was looking.

Just got back in town and picked up the optic Friday. Rifle has a delivery of next Friday, so looks like I might get this thing out next weekend. Optic is same quality as the example I shot with before. Nice solid adjustment clicks, glass is clear, and in low light last night at dusk, with the illumination on, was better then I remembered. Few pics of the optic below. Reticle pic is pretty horrible, I know.., but it gives you an idea.
