Rust prevention is probably the last thing I worry about when looking at lube.
I can appreciate the info for what it is, and it's a decent test, but it doesn't rain inside my safe. If my gun gets wet, it gets dried and re lubed when I get home.
They do, and they are hydrocarbons, and when they burn and break down, lots of different organic compounds are produced, not the kind of stuff you want to breathe in or have on your skin for extended periods.
