I've provided you an avenue forward. KevinB is our MIL/GOV vetting "agency". I am completely unconcerned with your disabled veteran status.
The improbability of the claim for being issued, and carrying, a 93R garnered my attention.
Is one of the photos in your photobucket of you carrying the 93R?

Howdy SHIVAN,
Well, it's obvious that you never Served.
An Internet gun forum has a "MIL/GOV vetting "agency"".
Now that's funny!
Let him "vetting" away. He can send his .gov e-mail address and I'll respond to it with an e-mail from .gov e-mail account.
So, let's see.......
You called me a liar over being a Veteran and I proved you wrong.
Seems like you're calling me a liar over being a Fed. Gov't employee and as soon as your "vetting agency" contacts me with his .gov e-mail address I'll prove you wrong on that one too.
A picture of myself carrying a Beretta 93R?
I'll see it I can find one. It was a one time deal in probably '89 on the Saudi-Yemen border but I'll dig through so old pics to see if I have one.

P.S. I'm very proud of my military service and only wish I could have done more for this Great Country that I love with all my heart and soul.
That would be a cool revolver to have.
I am sure I got the idea from and old SOF magazine. The BAR Belt I bought was brand new old stock and cheap. I picked it up for like twenty bucks at a gun show. I brought it to a local leather store and had them add some grommets, mine did not have any and I added a set of H Suspenders. It was bad ass for the 1990's! Here is what it looked like:

I just looked it up. The G18 was designed in 1987. I am changing my gun again to the G18C I did not know it existed!https://us.glock.com/heritage/timeline

Sadam's G18C. Hopefully on display in the Bush Presidential Library.

Stengun, can it be possible that you are such a friggin tool that you have missed the entire point on this and the daily driver thread? No one doubts you are a veteran , and no one doubts that you're disabled. No one has said that and frankly no one cares. What is in question is your claim regarding weapons carried in a military capacity. You seem to be not so artfully avoiding the yawning chasm of doubt expressed by a whole lot of people who have actually been there and done that. Except not carrying the same weapon you claimed.

Even though I compete with and love the 1911, the best knock-around, all-weather, all-terrain, lightweight, concealable, and potent can of handgun whoop-ass I have is the G23. Going a little heavier and less concealable and gaining in firepower, I'd also go with a G20.

Last/best warning....I couldn't possibly care any less about your US military veteran status. That being said, a gun forum of our type employees all manner of veterans, at varying grades, and in various branches. MIL/GOV/ and LE. As you probably can imagine, there are myriad people who claim all sorts of statuses, awards, and exploits. KevinB has a unique set of verifiable contacts in the military and gun industry, and is of a pedigree that he can vet out a legitimate claim of an 18B over your run-of-the-mill 11B. Or service in a variety of PMC's, here and abroad.
I'm sure your PMC bona fides check out just fine -- send them to KevinB -- with mitigating details of how you came to be issued a 93R in the role of PMC sniper. Unless your US Military service included being issued a Beretta 93R, while also carrying a "sniper rifle" (which one since we are on the subject?), it has no bearing on my belief, or lack thereof, that you were issued a Beretta 93R by a PMC.
For future reference, when it comes to a claim that might be too hard to believe on face value, it might be worthwhile to hold those near and dear for friends and family consumption.
A 93R is essentially a moon rock. Doesn't fit the role you described it being used in, and is of such a rare claim that even in the presence of three guys that sat right next to you with it in your holster, STILL might not be believable. If you find that hard to fathom, or understand, you might want to revisit your participation on the internet -- in general.
Thanks,
Ed

Theoretically one could've snagged a VP70 pretty late in 'Nam. HK rifles were around in limited quantities(at least according to possibly apocryphal accounts of SEAL/SOG acquisition).
I have no idea if the stock was available allowing for burst fire but you'd have a lemon squeezer of a 19 round polymer autopistol. Loaded up with SuperVel
I say theoretically in the sense that they existed. A Hi Power probably would've been a better choice.
