True, but you can be the world's best dancer and if the fat chick your dancing with has 3 left feet, well...... You're screwed.

More than likely my other 29 partners will be able to cut a rug.

What if the guy you in a dance off against has a partner that's pretty good at cuttin' a rug? You might not have time to gather up another partner.

P.S. Yes, it's a slow day at work. Actually I'm the only one here today. I work 4-10hr days and I'm off on Monday and most are off on Friday.

We need to establish a baseline here. Let's assume our bottom of the barrel is m193 or m855, and not some 55gr Tula. If you can put multiple shoots through Mr. Badguys sternum as fast as you can, he probably won't know the difference between m193 and mk262. Like I said though, I want every advantage I can get. That is why I keep a quality defensive round in my rifles and handguns. I may not be able to shoot center mass. I may only be able to shoot through an exposed appendage like an arm. If that's the case I want to cause as much damage as I possibly can. Does it definitively matter what round you load in your gun? Probably not. With all of the quality defensive loads on the market, there is no reasonable excuse to not use one of them.

    +1!

Blast 'em! And keep blasting 'em! Ammos not that expensive and you don't get extra points for unfired ammo after your dead.

Heck, Tula would not be my first choice but if it's all ya got, it beats throwing rocks. Besides a half dozen rounds of Tula center mass will beat any magical defensive handgun round ever made.

I'll be watching a cop show like NCIS with the wife and Gibbs team will enter a building/house/whatever looking for a BG(s) an will only take their Sig sidearms and I'll be like "WTF?!? Even though I'm a pistolero, I want a short barreled carbine or a 12ga for an entry weapon."

Wife "It's just a tv show'"

Me "Yeah, but hey need to hire me as a gun and tactics tech."

P.S. Did I mention it was a slow day at work? Yep, your tax dollars are paying me to post on the 'Net!

But, and I've learned this on the two way range while on duty, you may only get one shot.

Gee, that's because you either didn't pull the trigger fast enough or you didn't have the selector switch set to auto.

Or because you're responsible for every single bullet that leaves your barrel and there MAY be people near/around/behind your adversary who don't need to be perforated. Yeah. Like every cop alive.

    Howdy,

That's what we call "Acceptable Collateral Damage".

Besides, they shouldn't have been hanging out with Bad Guys.
