No... that's not what we were talking about, nor is mainstream Islam a hateful ideology.

Cool tangent with the JDL though... I'm with you, brovaman.

There should be only one path for radical extremists in America, regardless of their ideology...

these percentages result in literally 100s of millions of people that support Sharia law. Is 100s of millions of people mainstream enough?

Let me see if I can get you on the same page.

All Islam as a basic tenant supports the idea of "valid Jihad."

Jihad is nothing more than a "holy war" waged for Allah.

Holy War in the name of religion, is always a hateful ideology. Doesn't matter if we are talking about the Crusades, the Inquisition or Jihad. It is one religion killing people because they belong to another religion, even when it's just a different kind of Islam, and that is a hateful ideology because it doesn't consider any other factors such as the individual and is he good or bad.

It is no different than killing over skin color or any of the other stupid reasons people create and adopt hateful ideologies.

Now if you had Muslims who rejected the notion of "valid Jihad" then they would be exempt, but secular Islam isn't really an actual thing and most "mainstream Muslims" accept the notion of "valid Jihad." They may debate the validity of this one or that one, but that is pretty much just semantics once you have accepted that Holy Wars are ok under certain conditions.

To distill it even further, is a "Holy War" ever OK? The answer is always no. Under no circumstances is it OK to place your religion as superior, to the point you would use violence to assert it. It's really that simple.
What if this whole crusade's a charade?

    Thought I covered that here:

Holy War in the name of religion, is always a hateful ideology. Doesn't matter if we are talking about the Crusades, the Inquisition or Jihad. It is one religion killing people because they belong to another religion, even when it's just a different kind of Islam, and that is a hateful ideology because it doesn't consider any other factors such as the individual and is he good or bad.

But just in case I didn't get it across comprehensively enough, you are absolutely correct, Holy Wars are always wrong.

Additionally, here is a decent rule of thumb: If you are killing somebody in the name of God (any deity), then you either have a really horrible God (deity) or you are actually offending your God. Seems to me if God (any deity) wanted somebody dead, they should be capable of direct action and don't need a human to strap on explosives, load a gun, etc.

Pray tell who by your estimation are the "radical extremists" in America in 2016 and what is the "one path" they should take?

    The new norm?

The FBI on Tuesday continued to investigate an incident in which 17 men were detained for reportedly firing off hundreds of rounds in a remote part of Apple Valley.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies and an FBI agent responded to the scene Sunday morning and detained the men – reportedly all of Middle Eastern descent – who were camping out in the Deep Creek Hot Springs area Sunday morning, authorities said...

“a large group of subjects wearing turbans and chanting” at the scene... “They were up all night chanting ‘Allah akbar’-type stuff,” an unidentified officer is heard saying on the audio recording...
