That sounds like "There are too many to deport."
I'm a big fan of kicking some of these Mopes out of their jobs until you can find some leadership with the fortitude to say something like, "Well that's why we gave the Police and Military Two extra magazines each." & "Now lets go kick some butt."
That's amazing.
I've never seen a sample size of 100s of millions, nor do I know anyone who participated in this survey.
Oh... percentages? Like, so you only need to extrapolate by 100s of millions to get to hundreds of millions?
LOLLOL!!1! Get serious.
Further, a very high percentage of dudes in Sunday mass with their family reject adultery- but you know they be taking "extended lunch breaks" and slam tagging random-trade-show-booty a few times a year on the company dime.
I can attest that 100% of my soldiers rejected drunk driving when polled... but damn the closer that deployment gets the more you be picking up from county and having recall formations.
Religion is funny... but that "poll" is a joke.
Wrong.
You're already veering off towards your talking points, and what the partisan hate machine has brainwashed you to believe.
First you have to understand what Jihad is before it can be discussed.
http://islam.about.com/od/jihad/f/jihad.htm
True that, but only a fool would assert that "just (right) war" does not exist.
Christianity is deeply flawed because it provides no mechanism for just war to take place.
So how is Christianity still around? Simple- we have lots of bad Christians who ignore it (fine) but then inexplicably go back to claim it (WTF? and WHY?).
1) It seems you've taken your false definition of Jihad and run off with it. Some things in life you just have to fight for. What do they say about it in the Koran... home and family? Yeah... I'll fight for that stuff.
2) Secular Islam is not a thing? Dude... maybe you haven't partied your ass off in the Muslim world, and maybe there just happen to be no Muslims living in your valley or holler or canyon or whatever... but look around next time you visit the big city. There are secular Muslims all around you. They are our friends and neighbors. Some of them would kick it with you all night talking HK... some of them have CCWs... most of them vote Republican.
You need to get out more.
Send them to KKK paradise or Neo-Nazi Shaheed Heaven or whatever.
We don't need them here.

Most polls are a "joke" from a science perspective and at best, a very rough guideline to totally worthless depending on a number of variables. I have seen some of the dumbest polls that I knew to be flatly false, and of course human nature has us accepting those polls in line with our beliefs and rejecting those not in line. When one also is able to actually study behavior directly and attempt to match it to polls, they tend to correlate either weakly, or not at all. Polls are not worthless over all, but similar to epi studies, have to be kept in context and understood as to what actual value they offer and don't.
The problem is, you can find some justification for virtually any behavior from a religious text if you pick and choose what's in line with your pre existing beliefs. It would seem some religions have have more slanted wording that can be interpreted as "kill everyone who does not believe as I do" than others, and many point to passages in the Koran as being particularly aggressive in that respect. I would posit that governments in the region overtly or covertly support those interpretations to get sociopaths to fight their proxy wars and use them to annoy their enemies while giving those governments some level of plausible deniability. Right now, the sociopaths of ISIS and related "radical" Muslims are a threat to us and ours, but if they were say only intent on hassling say Iran, China, or North Korea, we (and by we I mean the US and allied countries) would turn a blind I and label them freedom fighters, which "we" have done many times.
The problem with that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" approach is that such groups can get out of your control and turn their attention on you. We supported the "freedom fighters" in Afghanistan to make the Ruskies miserable and enjoy their own 'Nam, and a leader of those very freedom fighters directly related to those who flew planes into the twin towers. Hence, once you unleash such creatures, you play a dangerous game that might come back to bite you in the ass.
Such is the nature of geo politics and untended consequences.

“Those who do not view armed self defense as a basic human right, ignore the mass graves of those who died on their knees at the hands of tyrants.”
Guys, I don't necessarily agree with everything KEV says, but here is my take - he has partied with Muslims on the ground in their countries; he has spent a significant amount of time in the region; he is an American who has stepped forward to serve the Nation.
Those things cause me to slide towards not trying to change his views or argue with him based on something I read.
You are gonna have to forgive me if I happen to discount your Islam.com source.
Jihad is "religious duty of Muslims to maintain the religion." This includes "holy wars." I figured given the knowledge you possess you knew where I was going with that. There really haven't been a lot of Jihads to do anything else, nearly every example is a Holy war.
That is why you don't see many "holy warriors" (you know how to pronounce that word right?) concerned with anything other than war.
As far as secular Islam, drinking and whoring really doesn't prove anything. The litmus test is again, do you believe in "valid Jihad."
And like I said previous, if there are muslims who HONESTLY reject the notion of any "valid Jihad" then I'd gladly welcome them as a modern, civilized person of the world. Problem is the concept of "Jihad" as "duty to Allah" is so central to Islam it is hard to divorce the two. Again, it's like being Christian but believing Jesus never actually rose from the dead. I'm sure there are a few, like the Nestorians, but they are hardly mainstream.

I've got some personal friends from Trinidad, fellow martial artists I've trained with for over 20 years, who are technically Muslim, but of the "I just don't eat pork" variety. Does that make my views unimpeachable as well?
I also know a couple VN vets who never reconciled their views of "black folks", even when it came to their fellow veterans. I knew them growing up but didn't learn about their racial biases until years later when I started to regularly shoot with them. Out of deference to their military service should I simply accept their racial views and stop telling them why I disagree with them?
