I've got a couple RCA adjustable gas keys, including one on my .308.
For $40 they do the trick and haven't given me any trouble since setting them and locking them down.

Not intended to be regularly adjusted, I just set it to barely lock back unsuppressed, +1/4 turn and it runs no matter the configuration.

I'd rather regulate gas pressure at the block than at the gas key. The Black River Tactical MicroPin gas block with an adjustable screw-in gas port insert. Damn near as indestructible as a FSB. Reasonably priced as well.

Where do you see that? I know that the page for one has been up for months, but it explicitly states that the page is there as a way to gauge how much interest there is, not to indicate that it's a regularly stocked item.

Ah. I never read the page. Just saw it was there. I don't need one so didn't look farther.

Get a barrel with a properly dimensioned gas block, and the correct dwell time for your cartridge. Get a Tubbs flatwire recoil spring and the correct buffer and move on. If your suppressing get the Gemtech, or Bootleg BCG.

The ADIGS works quite well if you are going to set it once and then leave it alone.
In my case I have a very rare flash hider that is pinned to a 14.5 inch barrel.

To be honest, I was unaware of the adjustable gas keys. They look very simple, simpler than many of the adjustable gas blocks... will take a look
