For crazy stupid money... plus it's just a Taurus CT9 for $1800 more with a source of mags.

They can keep that shizz.

SP5K is a figment of your imagination.

Because HK hates you (and you suck).

Definitive Arms is not doing it right though.

Many years ago I explored building up a 9mm AK and spent a little time looking into the right way to shorten the receiver. Setting the barrel back in the trunnion and not modifying the receiver is amateur style.

Volk Armament does it correctly:

Saiga-9 will be an interesting addition to the market, especially if:

1) They bring in the Glock fed model.
2) It runs.
3) It is correctly priced.

Yeah I'm not holding my breath on HK to bring in their model. But I think the Saiga 9 is even less likely to show up here in the US, much less with Glock mag compatibility. Speaking of which, does such a thing even exist? I thought the real Saiga 9's used their own MP5 look alike mags?

I think as far as 9 mm AK's go, the most realistic thing to come would be Molot's (VEPR) version. Which I think does take Glock mags; at least from the pictures I've seen.

Apart from that it's just US made AK's to pick from. At that price though, I'd rather just drop the money on one of the MP5 imports.
