Agree, what sense would it make for the ATF to say 'yes, that's ok' to every bizarre type pistol 'thing that goes on the back end'' or 'brace' or whatever and then turn around and say a typical buffer tube can't be used.

They approve everything under the sun if you simply say the "intent" is to be a pistol. It makes no difference how much time it takes to install it or what could be installed afterwards.

Of all the bizarre rules they have, they have bent over backwards to allow damn near any type pistol configuration one might dream up with the underlyi9ng test being, "do you intend it to be a pistol?" If, yes, then it's a pistol. You can't ask for much more than that.

WTF happened to "the First Rule of Fight Club" analogy? I think everyone here knows exactly what is and is not legal, and what constitutes an SBR. This horse has been beat to death, has decomposed, turned to dust and now the dust is still being beaten.
