I'm just a little pissed that they haven't brought Timothy Zahn on to write a novel or series of novels but they're using his biggest character. I feel they owe it to him since he established the old EU so it could flourish the way it did. I honestly feel he should have had first "dibs" if you will when Disney did away with the old EU. According to Filoni the YT-2400 we see is not the Outrider. The person who designed the ship for the game works on the show so he let her bring the design in.
And he also said there is no plans to bring in Mara Jade.
