Sionics vs BCM LPK and Trigger?

My son-in-law and I are building identical carbines. Unfortunately, Bravo Company says it will be early June before they have any more LPKs. I really liked the trigger I got with the last enhanced lower parts kit from BCM but I see that sionics offers a similar kit. Any actual experience comparing these two triggers? The sionics lpk is readily available.

50 views and not a peep. I know most of us have experience with the BCM enhanced trigger, so is it that the Sionics is that infrequently used?

Not the brand you asked about... but my favorite LPK is the Stag/CMT (available from Stag's website). When it comes to trigger feel I like it better than either of my Colts. Hth

Thanks FamilyMan, is the trigger coated/polished or just a good Milspec? Have you use several of these kits over a long period of time or high-round count?

It is their basic trigger (no fancy advertised coating). Their trigger did seem to have a more 'finished' surface iirc. 4-5K rounds and no issues. CMT (Continental Machine Tool) supplies parts to a lot of name brand assemblers and their stuff is gtg from my experiences.

Honestly I don't have experience with the Sionics, but I'd be shocked if it wasn't gtg.

There's probably very few people with significant time behind both. Probably your best bet to check out the Sionics threads for feedback.

Thanks, I've read those. Don't need significant time, hoping for just a few pulls of the triggers. I'll settle for one of our more discerning members giving two thumbs up to the Scionics. My son-in-law put his first AR build into my hands and I don't want to let him down. He has tried my BCM so he has a frame of reference.

This. I wouldn't assume all that many people have experience with either one of them, actually. The BCM is relatively new to market. Like others I expect both of them are fine, and have no experience with either. I've used four of the ALG ACT triggers and even within the same brand and model the feel varies from OK to excellent.

If you need a LPK there is no reason not to get one from SIONICS, they are quality and they are available. As far as triggers go I am confidant that SIONICS EMS-T = BCM PNT = ALG ACT.
