    Shotgun stocks

In regards to shotgun stocks, I think I have tried them all. Had the original wood stock shortened 2" originally, That was after a Clint Smith shotgun class. Then tried the Hogue overmolded youth stock that I found to be too short even when wearing armor during a NRA L.E. shotgun instructors class. I finally settled on a Remington youth synthetic stock. My take on the subject of pistol grip versus traditional stock, go with the full stock the shotgun is a shoulder fired weapon not a pistol.

    How about Choate?????

I have one. I believe it is the Mark IV or Mark V stock. In has an adjustable length of pull with a pistol grip stock, using spacers. I am completely sold on this stock and believe you are short changing yourself by not considering them.

No pistol grips, standard stocks are the way to go. As for LOP, anything over 13" will be too long for an average person. I'm using a 12.75" Hogue right now.
