    Frankengun build

After I sold my primary rifle in January I have been slowly buying parts and debating over which route I wanted to go. My wonder with a 1-4x scope was really the drive behind this build. I knew a scope would add weight and make the rifle a little more cumbersome than a micro red dot, so off I went.
I looked at more parts than I care to mention until finally deciding on this. I'm very pleased with the weight and balance of the rifle. The BCM KMR alpha rail is insanely light and matches up well with the Vltor upper.

    Upper parts-
Faxon 16" gunner profile middy barrel
Faxon low pro gas block and tube
BCM KMR alpha 15" keymod rail
    Vltor MUR upper
    DD NiB bcg
    BCM mod 4 handle
    AAC Brakeout

    Lower parts-
    Spikes Punisher lower and lpk
CMC 3.5# flat trigger (single stage)
Spikes buffer tube/spring and T2 buffer
    Magpul MOE grip
    MFT minimalist stock
    Magpul BAD lever

    Optics-
    Vortex Viper pst 1-4x
    Areo precision lightweight mount

They might call them Frankenguns but I see a purpose build high quality rifle that bears your brand...so to speak! nice...very nice

Are you planning on using an AAC can on it?

Nicely done! Franken is what it's all about. How's the Areo precision mount working out for you? They look pretty nice for the $ and I'm still waiting on my Geissele SP mount.....

Fit and finish is great. The three hex head mount screws give a solid mount. I'm pleased with it. And it's super light weight.
