    Basic Carbine

Built this rifle off of a budget, with sale, clearance and just utterly cheapest prices, free, and used.. *Disclaimer* I do not compare this to a Colt or any other premium rifle. Its more or an experience/experiment. Whatever breaks, will be replaced with premium parts. Whatever doesn't, stays. Call it my little money pit.

    Upper:
    Olympic "Plinkster" A1
    Olympic FSB
    Rainier Gas Tube
    BCM Upper Parts
    BCM Barrel hardware
Spinta Precision 16" M4 Contour 4150 Carbine Length
Spinta Precision BCG, chrome lined (Blem)
    A1 Flash Hider (Unknown MFG)
    Charging Handle (Unknown MFG)
    Slim Handguard (Unknown MFG)

    Lower:
    Spikes Calico Jack
    "Mil-Spec" LPK (Unknown MFG)
    Tango Down BG-18
    UTG Comm. Receiver Extension
    Colt Spring
    Carbine Buffer (Unknown MFG)
    Castle Nut/End Plate (Unknown MFG)
    Stock (Unknown MFG)

Heres a few pics. I have dry-fired a little, and the trigger really isn't that bad. Havent made a rnage trip, but I'll let you guys know what and if the kinks are. This is a sub $500 rifle.

Keep your eye on the carrier key screws if you shoot it a lot.

OR I can remedy that before it happens right? I appreciate the good eye. I can handle that at work on Monday with a punch, vise, and a hammer.

The fact that it's sub $500 all in is interesting to me. Will be interested to see how she runs. Nice looking little carbine too.

I too would heed IG's advice.

Nice looking carbine. I've paid more for uppers with had bolts that turned out to not be MPI, so it looks like you chose your parts wisely.

What's your intended use? Plinking, truck(trunk) gun, or something else?
