LMT 10.5/KAC Medium FF RAS/KX3 combo

Will an LMT 10.5" barrel, a Knight's Medium FF RAS, and a Noveske KX3 all fit each other without any issues? I know it'll be close if they do, I'm just wondering if there will be enough clearance for everything to properly mount together.

    Thanks in advance!

Shouldn't the Knight's essentially be a 9" rail as opposed to the "shorty" 7"? If so it should stop just after the FSB or shaved gas block and be just fine.

I'm sure someone around here has a pic of a 10.5" barrel and a DD or Larue 9.0, the KAC should be the same length.

This is from the Noveske site, and is a Larue 9.0 on a 10.5" barrel.

Unfortunately, the KAC Medium FF RAS isn't the same size as the LaRue 9.0 rail. Here are the lengths I've been able to find regarding the various rail mentioned so far. (I measured my own LaRue 9.0 and KAC Carbine FF RAS to get those lengths and searched the internet to get the Medium FF RAS's lengths.)

    LaRue 9.0: 9 1/8" Overall length, 8 1/4" available rail space

KAC Carbine FF RAS: 7 1/8" Overall length, 6 1/4" available rail space

KAC Medium FF RAS: approx 10 3/8" Overall length, approx 9 3/8" available rail space

From these measurements, the KAC Medium FF RAS is about a full inch longer the a LaRue 9.0. so comparing those two dosn't really work in this instance. I already have a KAC Carbine FF RAS on my SBR, but I want to go with the KAC Medium FF RAS and have the KX3 but right up against it.

Somehow I missed "medium" in the description...

I'm not sure, but you could always have the RAS trimmed professionally, by someone like ADCO.

Hmm, I didn't realize the KAC was a funky size either.

I agree with Shivan though, you can always toss it in a band saw or chop saw to trip down whatever hangs over and patch it up with some krylon or Norrell's.

I trimmed a KAC Med FFRAS to fit around Midlength front sight gas block.

    I doubt it will fit a 10.5 with KX3

This is a 10" rail from Troy that I ran a KX3 on for a little while, I believe that it should be the exact same size IIRC it was a little over 10" in OAL. The flats on the KX3 will be on the inside of the rail, but you should be fine on clearance if anything maybe 1/10"-2/10" too much rail. If that's the case, just use a crush washer, but I seriously doubt that you will have to.

ETA: I love the fact that KAC has funky sized rails, they offer something that others don't, right now I'm running an 8" Rail (well 7-15/16")

Not mine, but a better picture of the same rail:
