On a NON-Orwellian planet, like, the Vulcan homeworld - yes.

Earth however, is pretty damn screwed.

Perhaps it's time to start viewing (and treating) employees of the federal government as part of the problem? After all, corrupt institutions can only exist as long as they are tolerated by the population. Does anyone doubt that DOJ is corrupt? How about DOD?

I began wondering when this day would come back in 2010 after a particular cohort of NCO's in my unit constructed shrines to BHO in their work spaces. I'm not talking the usual chain of command shit that adornes most HQ walls in case some dumbass forgets who the Commander in Chief is; think of BHO's mug dressed up like some kind of Greek Orthodox icon complete with "Yes We Did!" written across the top. That was when I started to realize that the military was lost and jumped ship for DOJ.

Now, I'm starting to think that it's time to stop thanking people for their service, contributing to LE/MIL charities, and simply mind my own business. Maybe my mind will be changed if 100 SA's hand over their badges in protest.

Sensei, I'm sure we can count on the federal agencies to ensure there's no election fraud in November.

If you haven't watched his announcement on video, you need to. He is doing an absolutely terrible job at delivering a speech - eyes wandering all over, never making eye contact with anyone or anything, including the camera. Obviously troubled by what he's saying and not doing a good job of covering up for it.
100% on point with his demeanor during the statement.

I think Director Comey is probably a man of honor, who for whatever reason played this out.

If he were in jail, they'd have him 24 hr watched and in a safety smock.

That's not entirely true. Some of us are still trying...

That, and he didn't want to end up getting William Colby'd.
