Was a vid, will find if I can. Comments posted from site has older quotes. Just recently:
"..."in the last six years I now own a couple of guns and it's for personal protection, the notion that, holy cow, what if there's a situation at my rural home in New Mexico and there is not a way to protect" himself, his property, or his loved ones."
and
"...Weld may have reservations about me saying, 'Where are the 10 people who may have been armed?' but that's me, that's the west coast" mode of thought."
He gets gun free zones a waste of life, gun laws only restrict law abiding, etc, etc and has for a long time. Weld and Trumps prior positions on guns, such as AWB, etc are almost identical in fact.
This was a good read on various topics from them I thought:

This election is no longer about keeping Hillary out of the White House. That ship sailed back in May, and the only thing that can sink it is a force external to the campaign (illness, indictment, etc.). Contrary to what Steyr thinks, the debates are not going to torpedo Hillary.
This election is now about 2 things: 1) the undercard ballot and 2) the message that you want to send to the GOP. For me, those two issues have merged since my US Senator (Burr) and House Rep. (Foxx) have Liberty Scores of F and D, respectively. So, my message to the GOP (who I define as Trump supporters in the Primary, people who thinks that leaders like Richard Burr are acceptable, or those that want to primary conservatives like Lee and Cruz) is: enjoy the pain. You brought it on yourself - now enjoy it. I will survive the next 8-40 years, I don't give a damn if you don't.

I like my rifles like my women - short, light, fast, brown, and suppressed.
I just hate driving anywhere near the Strip.
Got 3 tickets (they're free) lol. I'll see if either my Dad and Step-Mom want to go or my Step-Brother and his wife want to go.
I'm planning on recording as much as possible on things pertaining to the 2A. If he allows questions, I'm going to try ask about his stance on:
AWB
National CCW Reciprocity
NFA regarding SBRs and Suppressors
GCA regarding MGs
'89 Bush abd '98 Clinton import ban
and mainly the differences between his stance and Weld's stance and if the differences will be influential to his policies or if he'll... stick to his guns. *sunglasses*

At this point I believe our next President will be Clinton. I freely admit that is a defeatist attitude. Unfortunately, I feel it is a realistic attitude. In the past I've been able to 'play' with my Presidential vote as Kansas has been solidly Republican. I had intended to vote for Johnson/Weld this cycle. Recent polling has convinced me that, at this point, my vote for Trump may be needed to defeat Clinton in Kansas. That is what I intend to do, although I feel Nationally it will be a futile gesture.
I've thought for a long while that our only hope is to have the Congress in Republican hands. I haven't done exhaustive research, but to my knowledge Robert Bork has been the only nominee in modern times turned down for confirmation. Of several nominations have been withdrawn for various reasons.
So my questions to those more knowledgeable is this: How likely is it that a Republican Senate would hold Clinton's feet to the fire and refuse to confirm someone whose record indicates they were not pro-2A? And would the 2A be the hill Clinton chose to live or die on?
Thanks.
