Maybe it has something to do with their completely moronic approach to topics like birth control and other related topics. Other things like wanting to pull funding for planned parenthood when in reality all of the government funding goes to a completely separate part from that of abortion and provides millions of women with proper healthcare. No the republicans can't get their heads out of their collective asses to understand something simple like a group that does one thing they might disagree with can also do a lot of good stuff as well. It's a lot easier to rile up the mouth breathing fundamentalists by saying they are going to pull funding from evil planned parenthood because of abortions while completely ignoring the fact that it is illegal for that funding to go towards any abortions.

I'm against the government providing healthcare for ANYONE so yes, I'd like to see them cease all funding to that program.

If someone ran on ending entitlement program payouts that doesn't mean they are waging a war on anything except wasted tax dollars.

Well over here in reality that's not going to happen so you can either keep screaming about things that will never come to fruition and lose elections or you can let a few things like affordable healthcare slide and focus on what's important and realistic.

I don't think most folks 'think this shit is a good idea.' It would be nice if family/neighbors, etc. would all come together and meet needs, but that is not the world we presently live in.

We don't need to let affordable healthcare 'slide' we need to fix the system. Doctors should be well off, even rich. The problem is that there are entirely too many folks in non-provider, administrative rolls making more than doctors.
