It'll work since the law tactical folding extension accepts any mil-spec buffer tubes/pistol braces, no specific brand needed. But you won't be able to fire it unless you deploy the stock, mil-spec bolt carriers are what's intended for it

Thanks! I'm starting to think my friend was working with the assumption that I thought it could be fired while folded. I hadn't really considered the need to acknowledge it could only be fired when deployed. I'm interested in it for the additional space savings when stowed.

This is garbage. Why would you want a huge bar right in front of your safety lever?

The same reason someone would want an MVB ARC Stock, or a Troy PDW Stock, or an NEA CCS Stock. Duh!

BTW, that bar Does Not interfere with a Selector Switch.

Here are some videos of the Maxim Stock that this Brace will be based off:

I like them but, I'm not sure if they are worth the premium over a shockwave.

For those that have the shockwave. Did you run into issues with installing due to the reciever extension "sleeve/pad"? I tried to get mine off, but it started to tear. So I stopped before I made it worse. Especially since I wasn't sure the Shockwave would even fit once I got it off. Anyone have a trick for getting the padded sleeve off of the extension without ruining it?

I jut bought the KAK buffer tube. I would just tear the neoprene off. If you ever wanted to go back you can get replacement neoprene off EBay that fits exercise equipment (same diameter).
