I think on these messages one can only upload pictures, txt and zip -files. And even then the file size has to be less than 97,7 KB.
But a file less than three megs should go without problems as an email attachment. I've sometimes sent files the size of over ten megs.
Maybe your email software or service provider thinks it's possibly a virus (it is an executable, after all) and blocks it? Some free web emails (Hotmail etc.) have also attacment file size limitations.

ETA: Yeah, gmail does block .exe -files even if they were compressed.
ETA2: I just created an account on www.box.net for this. Private mail sent to PRGGodfather and Iraqgunz about uploading the file to be shared. I'll post the link on this thread when the file is up.
