    Old Chinese Ak parts....

I have recently sold my SAR 1 that I bought new in 1999. Back then I bought these Chinese parts to make it look more like my Dads AK with the silver colored bolt and carrier, vented gas tube, and wooden grip. The firing pin is spring loaded unlike the SAR 1 pin.

I took these parts off my SAR 1 when I sold it and I'm trying to decide what to do with them now.

I will admit I have never been very educated on the different AK rifles but it seems these old Chinese parts are hard to find these days.

Would anyone know what I have exactly?

    Not a whole lot. Maybe $150 +/-

Chines parts are good quality but there nothing exceptionally valuable there. The wood is not uncommon since most Bubbas want to tacticool their AK and take off and sell those parts. And the bolt carrier isn't uncommon. If you had a barrel or receiver we'd be talking about some money

    For comparison.

Of course if you really wanted to find out what they are worth, $1 start on Gunbroker and I guarantee they will sell. Might even go high if somebody has an original Poly they need to restore.
It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

    Chuck, we miss ya man.
