    HK's new FDE VP9

Just got some of these in. Looks like (on the LE model), they have ditched the 3 Dot Tritium sights and gone with the TruGlo TFX Tritium/Fiber sights.

    Neat.

All the RAL7008 VP9s and VP40s I've seen have had Mepros on them.

Supposedly Meprolite has supply issues and can't keep up with HK's demand for sights. The first run of RAL7008 VP9's had the meprolite sights. This run and possibly future runs will have the TFX sights until meprolite can catch up. Kinda wish my RAL7008 had them but I usually change them to Heinie's anyway.

I think it's a positive step. I personally like the FO-Tritium combo. Plus the newer gen Truglo sights fixed the durability issues of the old ones.

I'm a fan of the TFXs as well. Work well in daylight/lowlight and seem more durable than most F/O sights.

I'll be very curious to see if they continue using them long term. I agree, they are a nice upgrade from the Meps.
