I think this thread has shown that the product detailed in the OP has merit:

1. A longer cam track, increasing time to unlock,

2. coupled with a heavier bolt carrier, reducing the minimum velocity requirement, possibly further delaying time to unlock, and

3. a heavy type buffer reducing the actual bolt carrier/buffer velocity.

All pluses.

And, while not discussed in our lengthy discussion of velocity and mass, the longer allowable bolt carrier travel has to be considered a plus as well.

So how does that "15% decrease when unlocking" applied to real world?
I assume multiplying the chamber pressure @ unlocking by 0.85?
And, while won't be accurate, multiplying 0.85 with the maximum chamber pressure will also work? Say, make 62,000psi behaves more or less like a 52,700psi?

Well I wish some of them would give their recommendations. This is a factory colt barrel and it should be basically the answer to the overgassing. Instead it became an absolute problem. And it is a mil spec RE. The shaved fsb is the facotry colt fsp that is on the barrel.

Exactly which dealer in Phoenix? Specialized Armament by chance?
