    Good information.

How would you determine the shim thickness before removing the rear sight?
I would suggest putting the front sight post at the lowest possible location, zeroing the rear sight by moving it up, and then measuring how thick the spacer needs to be.

Ive got tons of tools. This aint my first rodeo, well sort of, first with a rear carry handle sight.

Lots of good info here. Im not going to be able to report back anything much for probably 2 weeks, but I will for sure be back to report in on where I am at and what I figured out.

I can shoot 50, 100, 200 on paper. I will shoot it at 50 and 100. I could shoot it at 200, but im afraid my eye sight and iron sights wont produce much thats usable at 200. I mean, I am sure I could hit the target, but consistent grouping, not so sure.
