MAMS is the way to go.

Then it will just be staring at you waiting for that QDC CQB

I really like the SR-25 line, EMC to ECC to ACC/APC. The EMC introduction was a game changer in the 7.62 AR game, a much more reliable and shootable offering in 7.62 compared to others.
Ammo costs do add up. 10K in ammo per gun doubles the price of the base gun plus optics, can, etc other accessories, etc.
It is still worth it to me, same with 5.56 in perspective.

Easy way to get rid of some money that's for sure.

    Fortunately it's money well spent.

Just went to switch out the grip to a bcm, spring and detent are long gone Haha. I love that I can wreck a 2k rifle with a 4 dollar piece. Oh well. Serves me right for couch gunsmithing. You'd think I'd learn my lesson, I've literally lost 3 of them before

    Bro...

Useless $2k lump of steel and aluminum or not, you chose right. Noveske makes a killer product, but.... KAC is the way to go if it's an option, IMO.

I assume this uses a standard detent and spring

Haha… well, I think all of us who tinker with guns have launched springs into La-La land at one time or another. I launched a buffer retainer and spring when I removed a receiver extension one time, searched for a long time because I didn't have a spare on hand, but never found it. I also launched a recoil spring and guide out of a 1911 and found them years later when moving.
