Im running a fsc556 and regular ammo, no cycling issues.
I'd recommend a better compensator before changing core components.

I had a battlecomp before the FSC556 and it was pushing the muzzle down to much.

What compensator do you suggest ?

get an ASR flashhider or blackout.......why do you need a comp or brake? simple mechanics and practicing fundamentals can help mitigate recoil. plus, there will be less concussion with a FH

Can we stay on topic please, i need help and dont have the experience nor knowledge. A race gun is not what i am after, they need to many specialized parts, ammo and reliability is questionable.

I have other ar's whose only modification has been the compensator which shoot softer than my sr15, furthermore the kac legacy mod 1 shoots softer than the sr15.

A compensator will keep the muzzle from moving around. The gas system + muzzle device + buffer system will affect recoil. With that said, there's ways you can adjust for that through training.

I will note this: a compensator is not the same as a muzzle brake, despite the fact that many people use the terms rather interchangeably. Technically speaking, a muzzle brake retards rearward recoil, while a compensator limits the vertical motion. Many muzzle devices will do both, but designs will favor one aspect more than the other. Both the Battlecomp 2.0 and the PWS FSC556 were tested here: http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/201...vice-shootout/, though that is by no means a truly scientific, nor very inclusive, test.
Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

My MAMS are amazing. On an SR-15, like shooting a 10/22...

If you don't care about mounting a KAC suppressor, the JP Recoil Eliminator is one of the best on the market, if pure recoil elimination is your goal, with the JP 3-port comps also being good if you don't want to look like to strapped a howitzer to your muzzle. I've heard good things about the Precision Armament M4-72, and the PRI AR15 comp has been doing good work.

Along with this, good lube (especially inside the carrier mouth, where the bolt goes) will keep the BCG moving smoothly and quickly.
