Question Custom paint job by X-Werks

I am considering a custom paint job on a Noveske Gen 3 lower.
I'm looking for a ghetto fabulous pimp style paint job.
    Purple Metallic.

Has anyone ever had custom paint by these guys?

Does the paint add a degree of tightness for installing the pins?

They really seem to know what they are doing according to the photos on their site.

I am hoping they could add metallic into the paint.

I can no longer wait for a Gen 4 lower.

I already have a Gen 3 lower so I know the deal.
Also, lots of folk on here seem to like the Gen 3's.

Let people enjoy things. Not everything has to be super mil-spec operator approved, 20000 rounds reliable. If it gets them into our hobby, I'm all for it.

Consider sending you guns to Copper Custom (Military Arms Channel owned gun store). They do gun candy & are pretty reasonable all things considered.

Thank you for that. I bought a bunch of slings from them before.

I have a local shop that does cerakote. I need to see their work though before I use them.

I would, however, prefer a shop that is familiar with GunCandy.

I like X-Werks, but this type of coatings are very specific.

    EDIT:

I just talked to Copper Custom.
    They have that exact paint.
They said they can also do a Glock stripped lower for combined shipping back.

    Each lower requires 2 layers.

It's not cheap, but is straight forward.

I think I'll order those Gen 3 lowers and that will be it for me until the Gen 4's come out - whenever that will be.
