    If he were using a low-pro gas block, then I would say not such a big deal, but his handguard will be stuck behind his FSB. There will no way to replace it if there is an issue with it. Unlikely, but you are boned it something gets boogered up on your handguard.

    As I said earlier, op can shave down the gas block to run a longer rail at anytime

    Check out the vdi manimal extended, low profile flash suppressor. Will allow fsb removal.
