My first impression is a good one. This particular version has the battery compartment underneath and out of the way. This keeps it clean and streamlined on the outside. The mount is very solid. Also, it has a motion sensor built in that turns it on once you pick it up. It goes into sleep mode after a period of non-use. This can be adjusted from 1 -8 hours. The sleep mode can also be disenabled if one chooses. I plan on getting this to the range soon. From what I have read about the Holosun optics, performance should be impressive as well.

Very good. Sound like a great budget optic.
