That is a nice looking weepon! I want one to go along with my POF. Maybe in 6.8 SPC?

last time I talked to LMT not doing 6.8
Last time I talked with LMT, Ryan said they will bring out the Piston in all calibers they have now (204 Ruger, 5.56, and 6.8 SPC) and are working on a 6.5G!!!
That was a month or two ago...

Is the end of the piston carrier, with the pads, larger diameter than the DI carrier?
It looks so in the pic, but they can be misleading.
I searched but couldn't find this information. Can someone post the weight (empty) and the total length (collapsed) of the LMT piston carbine, as it comes stock with SOPMOD? Thanks.
According to the 2007 G&A Book of the AR-15, the standard LMT MRP CQB weighs 6.75lbs and is 31 1/2" to 35" overall length. I would expect the length to be very similar and the weight to be very slightly more, maybe a 1/4lb more, but that would probably be it.
Measuring with my handy trusty antique yardstick, mine measures 32 15/16" to 36 1/8"...I don't have any way to weigh it, but it shouldn't be more than .25lb more. The op rod/spring and gas cylinder are very light...not as light as an aluminum gas tube, but very light as to not be noticeable.

Rear of the bolt carrier is larger so as to attempt to offset carrier tilt.
