    Talking lmt

Just went to the range ! Did some off hand shooting with just iron sights . At 30 yards its easy to keep a sub inch group , and I dont like iron sights . No problems shooting . Recoil felt lighter just waiting for my scope mount .

I got my LMT piston a couple of weeks ago and was finally able to lightly shoot it today. I only shot a total of 60 rounds. After reading about someone that had feed problems - I gotta admit that was in the back of my mind.

So I tried 20 rds of Federal XM193 (American Eagle Black Box 55gr), 20 rds Prvi Partizan M193 55gr and 20 rds Prvi Partizan M855 Green Tip 62gr. Happy to say no problems with my gun or any of the ammo. So I'm a happy camper

I haven't gotten my LMT Piston back yet...I'm going to my shop Monday to raise hell about that...but two others that sent theirs off on ar15.com got theirs back and they work great now. They had no problems with anything that they fired. So, that's good news.

That is great news! I am still waiting on mine to get here. I stopped in and my dealer said he hopes before the new year. That would put LMT past due by a couple of months so that wouldn't be to bad.

LMT has caught up with production of complete piston carbines as of last week. They are now focusing production on piston uppers to catch up with back orders.

It rained all day yesterday, but if it clears up today we will put some rounds through our demo gun.

    Range report will follow.

I got my piston back today...a screwup at my dealer caused it to sit a little while... I haven't shot it yet but I cycled some rounds through it manually and it's working fine. Far better than when I first got it.

We ran one this weekend. It ran flawless and shot sub MOA. We shot it at 100 yards using Federal 55 gr. ammo. I did notice on the QC tag a note stating it was not chambering a round, but it must have gone back to get reworked. Looks like they were aware of the issue at the time of inspection and corrected it prior to shipping.

It did seem like there was a bit less recoil, but the big advantages were that it was easy to clean and no blow back. This should be a huge benefit for those shooting suppressed.

We sold all of ours very quickly, so there seems to be a big demand for them.

Chris over at lanworld said he was getting some in and might have a few left. I passed, got some other stuff I've been meaning to pick up and I can always get an upper.
