Does anyone know a ball park price of a complete piston upper? I want one.![]()
For what it's worth. I've shot LWRC, LMT M4, Colt 6920 and Colt M4. I like the LWRC gas piston and had one built on a LMT M4-great job by LWRC. I saw the LMT piston system at the 2008 SHOT show and liked it and would try to buy one when it come out. See attached link for pricing;

Having the opportunity to meet and chat with POF, LMT, LWRC and Colt, I came away with the opinion that each company is doing what they can for their customers and know the market is very very competitive for our hard earned dollars. I saw the Barrett 6.8mm Rec AR and would love to have one too. The LMT gas piston front reminds me of the POF-IMHO. It would be intresting to see-long term, if there is any differences between a full length rod vs a 2 piece like LWRC.
I am impressed with the technology being pushed, R&D and the T&E of all. I hope DoD is listening to us here. I do believe LMT is making the gas piston in 6.8mm correct me if I am wrong. I hope to get one before any laws are changed by the in coming political party. Be safe.

Got my complete LMT piston from Anchor Armament for $1995.00 should get it on Nov 4.![]()
Any idea when we'll see the short barreled uppers? Sending my Form 1 off tomorrow to start my SBR. I'd like a LMT Piston upper on it.
I was quoting just the complete upper...
The complete rifle is $1995.00. I am getting these numbers from LMTs Retail Price List. These prices are effective 1 February 2008. Ryan from LMT sent me a retail price list and a catalog when I ordered my Piston rifle back in Feb.
Take care and if you want or need any other 'retail' quotes, I will be happy to give them to you.

My bad, Kelly. I never heard of an upper described as a "complete piston weapon system top end" - and thought you were talking about a complete rifle. Thankfully, I've already purchased a complete LMT piston and enjoying it a lot. Regards.
