From what I have heard a lot of manufactures are waiting to see what happens Nov 4th. It cost a lot of money to tool up and take resources away from current production to manufacture new product lines. If an anti gunner gets into office it is a wiser business decision to concentrate on current and high demand items rather then new up start products.

Everyone needs to say some prayers and get out and vote!

I agree on the prayer and get out and vote... but I live ina state that almost always goes the way of the most conservative... God Bless Kentucky... I just hope more Americans get their act together and get the cranium out of their anal oriface and do the same.
I also think that what you said about the manufacturers makes the most sense... I need to see how the election goes and try to get together enough money to buy at least 1 more AR and possibly one registered as a SBR.

Not to get off topic, but I must say that I totally agree here too guys. I'm not ashamed to admit it either.
Regardless of your beliefs, I ASSURE you, that YOU WILL want to PRAY, and ask for mercy on this country one more time.
We've got a good chance, but it's going to be close. It sure would be SO NICE if NOBAMA would totally lose just as he did in the New Hampshire primaries, after leading Hillary by a FULL 10 points in the polls!
    WE CAN DO IT GUYS!!!!

I have to say that I have the same gut feeling that I had in 2004 about 2 political items and my gut feelings were right...AWB sunset and the presidential elections... But I digress, I need to try to get together enough money for a LMT piston rifle, think that it is a better deal than just the upper I like the idea of getting the torque wrench, sights, and the sopmod stock, those items alone make it worth the extra $500 or so that it costs to me.

    Order

Well today I decided to take the chance and step away from the DI system that works fine for me even in my Colt 11.5". I ordered my LMT upper Piston 12" and was told it will be a 12-16 week wait time.

I almost ordered a LWRC but I like how you can remove the Piston from the LMT without removing part of the rail. From the LWRC forums it looks like they are looking at introducing seven upgrades to their system in 2009 but there is no set date or what upgrades they are looking at. I also like the one piece carrier LMT offers.
If worse came to worse and I hate the piston I can change out the CQB MRP back to a DI system. I dont think that will happen.

I'd be interested in knowing just what those upgrades are. LWRC has been a total tease, and they are so far behind on that SABR that I lost interest a year or more ago.
They've almost doubled the price on it, since it was first projected to "be more affordable than an SR 25". So much for that.
Not to mention you can't even get an order from them in any realistic amount of time.
Anyhow, I'd still be interested in knowing what those upgrades are. Even if we don't see them before it's too late. If you happen to have any tips on finding this specific info over on their forum, let me know if it's not too much trouble bro. I'd appreciate it!
Did they actually mention the specific "9 upgrades"????
    Thanks again.

    LWRC

There is no specific upgrades listed for 2009. Thats great for a company to improve a weapon system but If I had one I would want the latest and hopefuly the best. What sucks about that is it will get expensive on replacing for the newer version.

    Here is the LInk, http://www.lwrifles.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2802
