I'm warming to the AX. I still feel funny with a full rail since I won't ever use it. $8k in the gun, figure north of $2500 for the scope.

    Good to be a doctor.....

Glass will eventually be a NF BEAST .mil rad. I run ATACRs on my other precision rigs and I'm very satisfied with their product line. However, I need to save my pesos since I was originally planning on the Surgeon build which is $3K less.

    Bipod will be an Atlas

I have a couple ATACR's. I'm impressed with them as well. Their 4-16f1 is near the perfect gas gun optic. Small and full featured. My larger one for my bolt gun isn't F1, but it's still sweet. Never handled the BEAST. IM sure it's solid.

That rig will be one fine weapon once it's completed. Congrats.

How you going to keep your women quiet ?
A mixture of ketamine and versed delivered by blowgun dart. She will think that it was a strange dream when she wakes up.

Dry mounted BEAST for eye relief. Still need to add rosin and Loctite. Barrel break-in begins in 3 days...

Now that's a nice rig. I've contemplated getting that same rig in .300 WM with a Tangent Theta scope. 300win is by far my favorite round. Let us know how it shoots. Congrats!!

3 hundo is my favorite too. Perfect balance of ballistics and cost. 208 pill at 3,000 fps is a good recipe for hunting or hunting bad guys or plinking steel. Its just good stuff. In that darn gun, man oh man....
