I have a ton of you beat. Low post count but read to glean some great info.

Honestly, I've learned a lot here, but more importantly it's the only place I can have an intelligent conversations about most issues of the day. It is one of the few forums that restores my faith in humanity and reassures me that I'm not the smartest person in the world (because if I was we'd all be in a lot of trouble) and there are people in important positions who actually know what the hell they are doing.

I also live guns, military and LE stuff, so it's kinda nice to shoot the shit about something else in GD. I'm also one of those guys who likes to have his views challenged by intelligent people because if I can't back up my beliefs then they need to be reevaluated.

You're right on the money. I lurked M4C for years just learning what I could (the noise/signal ratio can't really be topped) before finally deciding perhaps I could contribute myself.

In reality, all I do these days is get frustrated and appalled with socialists.
