May I be so bold as to recommend Tito's vodka, from Austin Texas?

I just throw a case of 20 oz bottles behind the drivers seat. They haven't leaked yet, even in this Texas Summer heat.
I keep a case or two in the fridge at work, so I have plenty of water available. I wouldn't have an issue with loading it all up and heading home.

Definitely rotate the water out. Bottles of water are cheap.

Over 6 months, the BPA or whatever chemicals are enough to make water from bottles in heat taste WRONG.

This might not work for a car but works very well for the back of my truck, and if the water does "go bad" its easy to dump and refill.

Evian 20oz water bottles from Costco,Sams or BJs. They are expensive compared to typical bottled water.
By the plastic bottle and cap are very thick and durable compared to other bottled water.

Same here. I buy the more expensive water simply because it is packaged better. Keeps longer in the trunk.

Throw some boxes of flavored drink mix singles in there as well, some of which could be electrolyte replacement products.
How often do you rotate the water in your hydration bladders?

My concern with storing water in the car would be degradation of plastic at extreme temperatures.
