A Different Kind Of Bears Bark Sawed Off 12 ga.

All of my NFA items have been run through my LLC and when I heard that 41f (41P?) was on the horizon I sent in another couple of Form1's so I wouldn't have to put up with that fingerprint and picture crap. They both came back last week (6 months mailbox to mailbox) so I got to work chopping down a 12 gage. Every "Bears Bark" I have seen so far have been built on a SxS of one form or another. I saw this used Stoger Defender O/U in a local shop for $200 so I picked it up for this build. Cut the barrels down to 10", reshaped the stock into a "birds head" style grip, added an MRDS I had laying around since the Defender came with a picatinny rail, & finished the furniture in a stone textured gray finish.

Since it is a 12 ga and I value my wrists, don't want them broken, I think I will only be using Aguila Mini Slugs and Mini Buck.

Strangely enough, I'd actually like to try shooting that.

But then again, I like shooting my S&W 642.
