If my levels are deficient in anything, I'll take the necessary steps to fix it.

So I'll ask again: what should I test for?

I wasn’t expecting that, but the blood tests don’t lie – I became a healthier human being after 30 days of only Soylent."

Linking to a web page with some anecdotal story changes everything... The entire story smells suspiciously like they are using Asprey's model for success to BS people like yourself. Your attitudes sucks and your sci/med background clearly sub par for this discussion. Unless the chit was truly toxic, I wouldn't expect any major alterations in blood chems, LFTs, etc in the window people are using it. That it's far from cutting edge nor a legit replacement for food and that there's far better formulas (linked) is the issue. I frankly don't care if you use it 'till it comes out your ears son.

I'm done with you. Hopefully other members will head the advice and not buy the marketing koolaid as you have and attempted to get support for here that nonsense.

So you're claiming that it sucks again, and you still haven't recommended anything to test for since apparently even though it's complete shit, it wouldn't affect my blood. Sounds like a flawed argument to me. How can something so terrible and sub-par have zero visible effect on the body? You should work on your own attitude as well, and maybe offer better advice than "that sucks bro, you're an idiot"

I'm sure your admitted affiliation with similar companies isn't at all a factor in your opinion of Soylent. Who better to bash it then the competition?

Come on man you are being very obtuse towards Will, he is just trying to inform readers of this thread about the facts. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean he's trying to attack you. Chill, I see your new to the forums so just sit back and take it all in. Your other thread about bore cleaning and this are not awesome examples of how folks act around here.

I don't know all the facts and don't buy into snake oils but I do like the fact the young man is using scientific testing ( blood tests ) and hope he is monitoring sugar also . The product may be hype but when the other gentleman degraded insure he did not boost his credibility any .I had a friend who lost his ability to eat because of throat cancer and led an active life sipping ensure & ice cream & instant breakfast thru a straw 4 times a day .

Interesting two low count new posters are in agreement. A fairly typical marketing ploy to promote products. Might be the case here, might not. And yes, Ensure is pure garbage.

Mr. Willbrink I see this is not the page I thought it was .I came here thinking it was a firearm blog for adults but see it is a page about nutrition (or not ) drinks and childish people insulting others because their opinion of a product is not the Same as theirs . If you will reread you will see I didn't comment positive or negative on Solent green and said I knew nothing about it so how could you possibly say I was pushing it ? As for ensure you claim it is junk and I'm sure you probably feel the same about instant breakfast so please tell us what someone who is on a liquid diet can drink that will not only keep them alive but enable them to live an otherwise normal life that is even close to the same cost . As far as me being low count that is liberal talk for " momma the mean old conservative doesn't agree with everything I say " . Sorry I trolled your liberal page .

If those are altered in an n = 1 anecdotal model such as that, it tells us essentially nothing of value. If it's under controlled testing, using n numbers large enough to get stat sig, then it tells us something at least. The obvious confounders to any results in using n = 1 anecdotal are too great too narrow any impact on those tests to the product. Hence, it's essentially mental masturbation that does not really answers to whether the product worth using in this case. For his personal interests, sure. To us in internet land, not so much.

I'd be much more willing and interested in actually answering or responding with any details if he didn't come off as such a twit with the 'tude and such, but when you give someone the facts on a product they have drank the Koolaid on, and they give such responses to it, my interest in doing so drops to zero real fast.
