    Frag range of 77 TMK?

Learned about the new Black Hills offering a couple years ago and have been watching its progress. Massive, devastating wound channels on unarmored soft targets and great BC.

Just curious what the minimum velocity/range you can go and still reliably expand and fragment. According to my research, the TMK not only fragments like its dad, but expands as well due to the polymer tip and actually creates more impressive results than conventional TSX expanders. I've seen some ridiculous hunting pics of this round, and when you combine that with the high ft/lbs you definitely have a winner, even for whitetail.

For non-LEO defensive use I can't think of a better round.

Depends entirely on the barrel and barrel length. An SBR might only frag out to a few hundred yards. Where a 20" may frag out to 600 plus.

If you have a velocity threshold I could run it through a ballistic calc

I don't know, that fragmentation plus expansion seems hard to beat.
